Whenever we transfer your personal data internationally, we take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your data receives an adequate level of protection. These safeguards may include:

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements, and protecting our legal interests.

The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

  • The duration of our ongoing relationship with you and the period for which we provide the Services to you
  • Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (e.g., certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a specified period)

You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data that we hold about you. You can update many types of personal data directly through your account settings.

8.6 Withdrawal of Consent

Where we process your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.

8.7 Automated Decision-Making

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, except in certain circumstances permitted by law.

8.8 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@shpd.com or by mail at the address provided in the "Data Controller" section. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request. We will respond to your request within the timeframe prescribed by applicable law.

Please note that in some circumstances, we may not be able to fully comply with your request, such as if it is frivolous or extremely impractical, if it jeopardizes the rights of others, or if it is not required by law, but in those circumstances, we will still respond to notify you of such a decision.

If you become aware of any security breach or unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately at security@shpd.com.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@shpd.com. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
